Mil Spec
Inspired by classic Treble Booster circuits, the Cestus takes that iconic topology and tweaks it to work for all players. Internally there is a Military Spec SIlicon 2N2222A transistor that was chosen for it's great sound in this circuit.
Unlike it's Germanium brethren, this Silicon transistor version doesn't require a specific type of power and won't fluctuate in tone if the sun comes out at your next gig.
Iconic at the flip of a switch
The input capacitor on a Treble Boost is what determines how much low end enters the circuit and we have decided to make that input cap selectable.
When the switch is centered it's the stock Treble sound, flip it upwards you get a much more Mid forward sound, and flip it downward you get a Fat low end push. Great for hitting your amp or an overdrive pedal.
Cestus Controls
- Set - Adjusts the output level.
- Toggle Switch - Center is classic treble boost, up is Mid Range boost, down is a bass heavy Fat boost
