The team at Mass Street Music wanted to make an exclusive version of the Golden Fleece. We decided on a more “Golden” appearance and we went with a Elemental motif featuring the periodic symbol for gold, Au79. Sonically, this Golden Fleece is based off the very first versions of the pedal. It utilizes a specific diode pairing and value tweaks to have a wholly unique fuzz drive tone.
These units are made by hand with through-hole components and have a unique voicing. The Au79 has less gain and less bass than a standard Fleece so it’s slightly more focused and falls somewhere in between a drive and fuzz. With it’s single volume control relying on your guitar and touch will yield a huge variety of tones.

One caveat, the Golden Fleece is a clone of a incredibly simple fuzz unit and just like vintage units the pedal is very sensitive to your rig and power situation. This fuzz can pickup radio just like classic fuzzes (it just happens). If you are worried about ultimately clarity this pedal is not for you.
All Mythos Pedals operate on standard 9 volt dc power adapters. Center negative only. Mythos Pedals do not have internal 9 volt battery clips.
